Simeon?

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & producer Simeon (19) from the Netherlands started making music when he was 7 years old.

''After starting with piano lessons from his dad, he continued playing piano at high school and learned playing guitar, producing and started writing songs.''

''Lost my keys after playing them'' started of as a little joke but I guess it turned out to become a trademark. Although it's a play on words, it's definitely true. I lose my keys a lot. 

I grew up in Groenlo, a small town in the eastern part of the Netherlands. You can imagine there wasn't much to do so I've had a lot of hobbies to entertain myself. Photography, astronomy and writing for example. (Fun facts: I made it to the dutch TV program ''boekenbakkers'' with a short-story I wrote and I also made it to ''Het beste idee van Nederland'' with a tool I invented)
In short, I've always felt the urge to do something with my creativity. 

Although I had piano lessons from when I was 7, it never crossed my mind to make a living in music until  I went to high school. I never liked soccer, I sucked in maths, then there was music. 

Although I love playing piano I had the need to do more.  I learned myself to play guitar, bass and the thing I love most about music; songwriting and music-producing. Besides recording and producing my own music I started to play in several bands, producing for other people and giving piano lessons. After high school I got accepted at the conservatory in Enschede with ''keys'' as main-subject. 

In January 2020 I officialy started ''SImusic''.  You can hire me for piano/keyboard lessons, to play piano/synths or guitar for your song/beat, live-performances and way more. Feel free to contact me for questions.
